As the name implies, our Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course truly bears the stamp of the world’s pre-eminent golf course designer. Golf Digest has named the course as ‘Best Conditioned’ in the Western Cape from 2010 – 2019. Since 2006 the course has consistently been placed among the top ten in South Africa and ranked as the 5thbest in the country in 2018/2019 by Golf Digest magazine. For six consecutive years Compleat Golfer bestowed the Five Star Experience Award on the course.

The majestic Simonsberg and Drakenstein Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to one of Val de Vie’s most notable features: the acclaimed Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, which was shaped by the golf legend himself. Nicklaus’ unique touch is evident throughout the course and as such, it was recognised as one of the top 10 courses in South Africa for 10 consecutive years by Golf Digest magazine.

Pearl Valley at Val de Vie Estate distinguishes itself as the epitome of luxury living, with a variety of facilities that allow for a unique and unforgettable experience. Pearl Valley has a fully operational restaurant and bar at its Clubhouse where guests are welcome to indulge in the chef ’s signature dishes or enjoy a supreme selection of single-malt whiskies and award-winning wines. The hotel suites are easily accessible from the Clubhouse, located 100 meters away, by golf cart or a leisurely stroll.
