Barton Vineyards - Villsa are set on the gentle slopes of the Kogelberg overlooking the Botriver Valley to Walker Bay with olive groves, essential oil plantations and villas. Our frost-free climate and exposure to the cool sea breezes ensures that exceptional award-winning wines are produced.
Located in South Africa, Western Cape, off the R43 road leading to Hermanus. Lying at the foot of the Hottentots Holland mountain range in the Botriver valley, Barton borders the Kogelberg National Eco Park and looks across the valley to the Bablionsberg mountains on the other.
Barton beauty encompasses 500 acres (200 hectares). The area is famous for its fruit farms, the Walker Bay vineyards, flower and vegetable farms. We have plum orchards, olive groves, lavender fields, geranium and rosemary as well as 30 hectares vineyards from which our wines, olive oil, honey are produced and marketed under the Barton label.
Vistas from the holiday villas encompasses our olive groves, vineyards, lavender, pockets of planted proteas, the majestic Kogelberg and Bablionsberg mountains. Visitors are welcome to use the farm for walking, cycling, picnics and bird watching.
