Turaco Villas, are two luxurious houses situated on Hopewell Conservation Estate and have been selected as part of the Mantis Owners Collection.
These beautiful contemporary homes are tucked away close to a perennial stream, with Knysna turacos (Knysna loeries) frequently seen flying overhead or in the riverine thickets.
The villas are serviced daily with bed and breakfast. Out team is on hand to arrange some exciting activities on and off the nature reserve.
Guests can explore their surroundings through guided walks, self-guided mountain bike trails or horse safaris. Add-on packages at Nyosi Explorer Camp are also offered, while external activity packages can also be arranged.
Nyosi Camp is a tented explorer experience just 20 minutes from the heart of Port Elizabeth, offering the nature enthusiast a unique base from which to explore this spectacular conservation area.
Five comfortable tents have been set up on raised wooden platforms in carefully selected areas, to give the best possible views over the estate. A trickling stream flows past the secluded camp. Tents are spread far enough apart to ensure privacy, but close enough so guests do not feel isolated. All tents have en-suite bathroom facilities, with hot showers.
Nyosi may be booked on a self-catering basis or as an exclusive getaway which can be on a self-catering or fully inclusive basis.
