Services: Family-size swimming / plunge pool, DSTV full bouquet, flat screen TV’s, ADSL internet, aircon or under floor heating [both via a heat pump], huge terraces and outside entertaining spaces, close access [4 minute drive] to The River Club and amenities [braai, entertaining, leisure, etc.
Large, luxurious and beautifully appointed
This property can be booked for a maximum of 8 guests [who have full use of 4 bedrooms and amenities on both floors] – or 2 people could book the Penthouse Suite only. We do not book the Apartment out separately when the Penthouse is occupied. When the Penthouse is booked then those guests have the full use of amenities on the top floor of the house, namely;
King bedroom and en-suite facilities, kitchen, Scullery and external courtyard, full bar, TV Lounge, guest cloakroom, external terrace and swimming pool.
Accommodation at the house is available on two levels; there is one King bedroom with en-suite on the top floor with 3 further bedrooms [again all with en-suite facilities] on the lower floor. Both levels are linked via an internal staircase. Both floors have their own individual access doors and boast large lounge areas and kitchen facilities.
All finishings and fittings at the house are of the highest quality and blend together to compliment this truly magnificent and luxurious holiday home.
Everything for everyone
You enter the top floor via an unassuming front door close to the estate road and find yourself immediately in a long, brick vaulted vestibule which opens up into the huge living areas. This corridor also gives access to a full double-volume garage with ample space for 2 vehicles and a guest cloakroom. To the right is the general living area comprising a large and very comfortable lounge with vaulted timber ceiling off a very spacious kitchen / dining area with separate full bar. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate scullery with outside service courtyard.
Stacking doors from the lounge open up onto a large deck / balcony which serves the entire s/w side of the property. Deck furniture and a gas braai are located in this area. From the lounge you pass through to the very large Bedroom 1 [King bed] and en-suite facilities. This area has ample cupboard space, a dressing table and en-suite shower room. This room has it’s own access onto the large sun terrace.
You enter the lower floor either by the interconnecting staircase or by using the main door opposite the lower garage area. Both options take you immediately into a corridor that connects to two of the three bedrooms on this floor and into the general living area. This is a very large and comfy living room which adjoins an open-plan kitchen space complete with Linen and Storage rooms. There is access through to the lower garage area. Stacking doors of the living space again give access to the very spacious stoep outside which also features a family swimming pool / plunge pool built into the deck. Off the main living area is Bedroom 2 [King] which again has ample cupboard space together with a dressing table and en-site shower room. This bedroom has direct access out onto a North facing sun terrace.
2 further bedrooms; Bedroom 3 [King] and Bedroom 4 [1 x double + 1 x single complete the accommodation – both rooms are large with plenty of cupboard space, en-suite shower rooms and direct access to the external sun terrace.

In addition to being located near to the Simola Golf Course and other Estate leisure services 1 Riverclub is also within easy reach of many other local golf facilities; Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Goose Valley, George & Mossel Bay.
Guests can enjoy long, challenging walks through the estate and there are numerous hiking and biking trails nearby running through pine plantations and an Afromontane forest populated with many animal and bird species.
The area boasts sailing, kayaking, surfing, fishing, quad biking, horse riding & paragliding amongst the leisure attractions. For beach-lovers the sweeping beaches of Buffels Bay are within easy reach too and Knysna Lagoon is a short drive away.
Hiking, mountain & quad biking, horse riding & paragliding are all available in the Knysna area.
There are excellent supermarkets, boutiques and craft markets, plus a superb choice of cafés, pubs and gourmet restaurants in nearby Knysna
